About Us

WE ARE AN ENGLISH-SPEAKING, PROTESTANT, REFORMED & EVANGELICAL CHURCH IN NICOSIA, CYPRUS.

We currently gather on Sunday mornings at 11:30 am at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Nicosia, Cyprus.  Our worship service characterized by expository preaching of the Word, corporate prayer, corporate singing and fellowship.  All visitors are welcome!

We are a small congregation representing many nations but unified and governed by Scripture alone, The Gospel and the historic Christian faith. We are a local church with a regional and global vision for the gospel.

What We Believe

Our beliefs are founded upon the historic, biblical christian faith and from a protestant, reformed & evangelical conviction. You can view our Confession of Faith in the link below:

What Do You Believe?
Would you like to know how to understand the scripture for yourself? Would you like to know what God requires to know Him personally, have sins forgiven or know for certain you will be in heaven when you die?  Maybe your skeptical and struggle with faith, the goodness of God, the problem or purpose of war, pain, suffering?  Maybe you've been abused or frustrated with your church experiences. We are open to sit with you in total honesty and listen to your sincere and relevant questions or past issues with the church.

We believe in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, by faith alone.  We trust in his perfect obedience, His sinless nature, and His atoning sacrifice on the cross as sufficient for salvation to all who repent and believe on Him.  His physical resurrection declares He conquered death and sin, once for all, and give the gift of eternal life to all who truly believe.

What Is The Church?
We believe Jesus died for the Church and established local churches as the primary means of grace to hear the true and clear gospel message proclaimed, to serve one another and and to live out the life of Christ in community. As the church gathers to hear the Bible taught and preached, the members are equipped and encouraged to live out a bold faith in the power of the Holy Spirit.

NIC is not a perfect church and we are still sinners saved by grace alone.  But you will experience a  church where biblical truth, sincere faith & compassion, warm fellowship and the Great Commandment and Commission is lived out, taught and practiced.  We desire to show true unity in Christ through the Holy Spirit, in the new covenant of grace.
